Lithia Springs Elementary School is located two blocks south of U. S. Highway 78 on Florence Drive in Lithia Springs, Georgia. It is approximately two miles north of the intersection of Interstate 20 and Lee Road.

The building that houses Lithia Springs Elementary School opened as a junior high school in 1962 with an enrollment of 300 students. The first building renovation and additions occurred in 1977. In 1988, Lithia Springs Elementary began serving kindergarten through fifth grade. The gymnasium was added in 1992. During the summer of 2010, the school received a total renovation.  The building currently houses approximately 575 students.
