Biography

I am excited to begin my second year as an ESOL teacher here at Lithia Springs Elementary School!  I joined the ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) Department of Lithia Spring Elementary School in 2019 after ten years of service  with the Atlanta Public School District.  Throughout my years in education,  I have taught students from over 25 different countries.  I was also honored to serve as Teacher of the Year in the 2016-2017 school year.  In addition to my work in the classroom,  I  have created and facilitated summer programs,  adult English classes and community outreach programs for first generation students and immigrant families within school communities.

When not in the classroom,  I enjoy traveling the world, baking and spending time with family and friends.
